RecruitmentPlus on behalf of our client are seeking to speak with Operational Professionals for a Plant Manager position with a leading manufacturing organisation for their site in Meath.
In this role you will be responsible for building, leading and guiding the teams and overseeing all departments in the manufacturing plant, while ensuring continued customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
* Hold an Engineering / Operational Management Degree qualified with substantial experience at senior management within manufacturing.
* Sound knowledge and ability to lead in Lean Management and Continuous Improvement.
* A natural leader with excellent communication skills and promotes a collaborative and positive working environment.
* Committed to excellence and will seek to improve the business and site performance.
* Proficient with the Microsoft suite; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Developing site business, department strategies and implementation of group initiatives.
* Lead the site in achieving KPI’s and positively reinforce the company leadership values and goals to all employees.
* Maintain a proactive culture of continuous improvements & best practice throughout the plant.
* Identify KPI improvements and cost savings initiatives with the site management team.
* Achieve optimal results in a cost-efficient and high-quality manner. Monitor volumes, cost, quality and overall OEE.
* Launch CAPEX investments.
* Ensure operational personnel are fully trained in order to achieve performance goals.
* Coach your cross-functional team, further developing a high-performance organisation, steering an operational excellence approach and creating an effective organisation structure.
* Ensure full compliance at all times with ISO standards, regulations and statutory agencies and that the site remains audit ready.
* Embed the Zero Harm culture and ensure a healthy working environment in line with company values.
* Collaborate with UK & Irish site teams and external stakeholders.
* Undertake flexible working hours and travel as required.
