Job Objectives
We are seeking applications for the role of Deputy Person in Charge, who will support the Centre's Person in Charge. The role is suited for experienced candidates with strong organisation and management skills, supporting the execution and delivery of duties within the centre daily, in compliance with regulations.
This includes:
1. Ensuring Personal Plans are current and that services are delivered to the highest quality and safety standards.
2. Providing the highest quality of care and support to individuals.
3. Supporting the Person in Charge by managing team members, supporting individuals, and coordinating input from other departments such as the Clinical Team.
4. Mentoring and leading the team daily, with formal supervisions, appraisals, and monthly team meetings under the supervision of the Person in Charge.
5. Overseeing the service across shifts to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
6. Adhering to local safety statements, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures at all times.
7. Following all company policies and procedures.
8. Maintaining high infection control standards as directed by company policy and national guidance, prioritising safety, health, and welfare of staff, service users, and residents.
Skills Requirement
* Level 7/8 degree in Social Care/Healthcare or related discipline, or a suitable equivalent qualification with management training in Healthcare.
Knowledge
* Understanding of relevant standards and legislation.
Experience
* Full Driver’s Licence required or in the process of obtaining one.
