As a Sustainability and Innovation Executive, you will be an integral part of our team driving sustainability and innovation forward.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sustainability Reporting and Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards. Prepare detailed sustainability reports, including adherence to the ESRS framework.
* Implementation of ESG and Sustainability Initiatives: Lead sustainability programmes, including ISO standards and ESG initiatives. Collaborate with internal teams to integrate sustainable practices into daily operations.
* Research and Innovation: Identify opportunities for improvement based on benchmarking and research. Promote and support research-driven innovation projects.
* Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyse sustainability metrics, ensuring alignment with KPIs. Provide insights through comprehensive reports and presentations.
* Project Management: Manage sustainability and innovation projects from inception to completion. Identify partnerships and funding opportunities to support new initiatives.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with suppliers and partners to enhance sustainable procurement practices. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability and innovation initiatives.
* Awareness and Training: Develop and deliver training programmes on sustainability practices and innovation. Organise events and campaigns to inspire action across the organisation.
What We're Looking For:
* Skills and Attributes: Highly organised with strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
* Knowledge and Experience: Familiarity with ESG frameworks, sustainability concepts, and regulations. Proven project management and administrative skills. Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools.
* Qualifications: Degree in science, sustainability, or a related field (preferred). At least two years of experience in CSR, ESG, or a similar role.
