National Broadband Ireland are currently recruiting for an experienced Communications Executive to join their growing team
Overview
We're National Broadband Ireland and we're delivering the largest telecommunications project that Ireland has ever seen. We're designing, building and operating Ireland's new, high-speed wholesale broadband network under the National Broadband Plan. Our aim is to radically transform the country's broadband landscape through the delivery of quality, affordable high-speed broadband to all parts of Ireland where such services are not available commercially.
The NBI™ network using a combination of State subsidy and commercial investment will deliver high-speed broadband to over 1.1 million people and over 554,000 premises in Ireland. No matter how remote or rural, no town, village or community will be left behind. NBI will be responsible for the management of the new national broadband network for the next 25 years.

Key Objectives / Accountabilities:
Working closely with the Head of Communications and our PR agency you'll manage front of house when it comes to PR and comms. You'll manage connected customer photocalls, the creation and delivery of monthly PR coverage packs, measurement of progress and reporting on a weekly and monthly basis. This role has a large focus on stakeholder engagement and positive sentiment surrounding the brand.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Works closely with rest of communications and marketing team, to plan and develop ideas and strong communication plans and strategies
2. Reporting and analysis on communications campaigns to relevant stakeholders in the business to continually improve metrics across the wider marketing department
3. Brief the PR agency to create first class press releases that achieve business objectives.
4. Draft PR and communications plans.
5. Draft Stakeholder engagement laydowns per quarter that ultimately roll up to teams overarching strategy and company strategic objectives.
6. Execution of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly objectives in accordance with contractual obligations and team goals
7. Measure progress and reporting on it through slide decks, engagement trackers and internal reports at daily, weekly and monthly levels.
8. Engagement with our Retail Service Providers and Connected Customers, and the organization of customer photocalls with these stakeholders while ensuring CX is at the heart of this work.
9. Measuring success by way of sharing bespoke surveys.
10. Responding to correspondence with political representatives and responding to media queries.
Knowledge & Experience:
11. Have 1-3 years PR/ Communications/ Marketing experience either in-house or agency.
12. Qualified to degree level in PR, Marketing, IT or a Business-related subject.
13. Analytical skills and an ability to generate insights from campaign results.
14. Experience of planning and executing marketing campaigns within a CRM environment
15. Excellent communication skills to maintain relationships with various internal and external stakeholders
16. You will have experience and gained valuable skills in developing communications campaigns, plans and positive stakeholder engagement experience.
17. Experience in media relations.
18. Positive, enthusiastic problem solver who relishes a challenge and can thrive in a fast-paced environment
19. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
