Our client, a well-established and reputable Accountancy and Audit practice with offices across the Northwest, is seeking an Audit Senior to join their growing audit department. About the Role:
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services to both audit and audit-exempt clients. Working closely with audit managers and partners, you’ll gain valuable exposure and hands-on experience with a range of client engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage audit and audit-exempt engagements from planning to completion for review by managers and partners.
2. Prepare financial statements in accordance with relevant standards.
3. Perform reconciliations of key balance sheet items, including fixed assets, debtors, creditors, control accounts, VAT, and PAYE.
4. Maintain strong client relationships and ensure audit files are completed to the highest quality standards.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Recently qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
2. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
3. Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
4. Solid understanding of financial reporting and auditing principles.
5. A proactive approach with a commitment to professional development.
