Job Title – Manufacturing Engineer

Salary – €45K - €60K
About the Company:
Would you be an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with the ability to carry out Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance requirements? Then this is the role for you.
The individual will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of the Maintenance / Engineering Department and contractors to optimise the performance of the manufacturing facility.
You will support all operations and maintenance requirements across the site and ensure the continuation of process improvements.
Duties Involve:
1. Execution of maintenance procedures in line with site SOPs.
2. Attend to breakdowns and raise corrective maintenance tasks as appropriate for follow-up works required.
3. Support and assist the Operations and Maintenance Utilities Systems.
4. Engage in innovation and continuous improvement, taking ownership in highlighting areas where improvements are possible and opportunities exist.
5. Manage vendors on site for the services delivered and areas owned under the Facilities Services contract.
6. Permitting, method statements, risk assessments, and scheduling vendor visits to site.
7. Day-to-day preventative maintenance of all plants, machinery, and equipment. Maintenance of the site’s CMMS system.
8. Complete all documentation related to maintenance procedures on site.
9. Electrical and mechanical process and installation troubleshooting, including fire alarm and ATEX system management.
10. Strict adherence to all site safety policies.
11. Complete all work according to site quality standards and GMP documentation and housekeeping.
Skills Required:
1. 4+ years’ experience in Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Repairs.
2. Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
3. Ability to fault find.
4. Experience and understanding of Pneumatics and Hydraulics.
5. Ability to manage time and exceed deadlines.
6. Knowledge and understanding of the food manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
7. Knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
8. Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
