Early Childhood Development Educator
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Early Childhood Development Service (ECDS) as an educator and developer of children in our care.
About the Role
This role requires a strong background in early childhood education, with a commitment to fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children.
Key Responsibilities
* Education Delivery:
o Develop and implement educational programs that align with Aistear and Siolta standards.
o Utilize the High Scope approach to support children's learning and development, if applicable.
* Child Development:
o Promote the holistic development of children through engaging and age-appropriate activities.
o Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages children's curiosity and learning.
* Documentation and Evaluation:
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and activities.
o Use evaluation mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of educational programs and interventions.
o Utilize file-keeping software such as Salesforce to manage records and reports efficiently.
* Collaboration and Communication:
o Work collaboratively with the ECDS Manager and other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to child development.
o Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child's progress and any concerns.
Qualifications and Experience
* A FETAC/QQI Level 5/6 qualification in childcare or a related field is required.
* Demonstrated experience delivering education in accordance with Aistear and Siolta standards.
* Familiarity with the High Scope approach is highly desirable.
* Proven experience in evaluating the outcomes of educational programs and activities.
* Proficiency in using file-keeping software such as Salesforce is advantageous.

Working Conditions
