Maintenance Manager Job Description
Currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager for my client, a shopping outlet based in Dublin.
Suitable candidates will have a detailed knowledge of the operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical services.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage maintenance contracts, PPM, in-house maintenance team, and external contractors.
* Ensure all plant & machinery is being effectively and efficiently maintained.
* Manage health & safety and consult with Tenants on their maintenance obligations within their units.
Key Duties:
1. Ensure effective and efficient maintenance of all plant & machinery.
2. Manage the Centre's M&E and general maintenance providers.
3. Maintain and keep up-to-date the PPM planner for all contractors and maintenance team via the CMMS.
4. Manage the tendering of all maintenance contracts and works to ensure best value.
5. Maintain accurate stock levels for consumable items and parts.
6. Evaluate utility consumptions and costs and implement measures to optimize efficiency via BMS.
7. Ensure Tenants deliver their maintenance obligations as per the Tenant Handbook.
8. Review, introduce, and implement sustainable technologies and systems as part of the sustainability team.
9. Receive and approve all contractor method statements and risk assessments prior to commencement of works.
Requirements:
* Degree in building service engineering or City and Guilds electrical testing and verification.
* Several years practical experience within a relevant environment such as a Shopping Centre or similar environment.
* Solid knowledge of key systems found within large commercial buildings/Shopping Centre Environment.
* Possession of a health & safety qualification would be an advantage.
* Experience in operation and interrogation of BMS and CMMS. Computer literate and technology aware.
