About The Role
As an Accounts Receivable Administrator, you'll be the vital link between our company and our customers' financial operations. This dynamic role combines relationship management with financial precision to ensure smooth cash flow while maintaining exceptional customer service.
You'll take ownership of the full credit control cycle—from proactive communication with customers to resolving payment disputes. Your ability to reconcile accounts with attention to detail while building strong customer relationships will be key to our financial health.
Working collaboratively with internal teams, you'll help solve customer issues efficiently while identifying opportunities to improve our processes. Your organized approach to documentation and data management will ensure our financial records remain accurate and up-to-date.
This role offers the perfect balance of structured financial work and relationship-building, making each day both challenging and rewarding.
Key Responsibilities
* Performing all credit control tasks for customers including chasing customers by phone & email, ensuring customers meet contractual terms, proactive communication, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
* Reconciling accounts, and where necessary, considering eventualities such as unravelling accounts and reallocating as necessary.
* Liaising with internal teams to assist with resolving customer issues.
* Maintaining customer accounts and ensuring contact details are kept up-to-date.
* Dealing with queries from customers, providing timely responses and resolutions, following set processes.
* Assisting with obtaining a PO for invoices raised.
* Maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal customer success team.
* Proactively seeking ways to make improvements to systems and processes as part of continuous improvement.
* Ensuring all collection notes & disputes are clearly documented.
* Assist with monitoring weekly aged debt movements.
* General administration duties.
What We're Looking For
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Able to prioritise workloads and competently schedule callbacks with customers.
* IT Literate in Microsoft Excel Word & Outlook.
* Problem solving.
* Attention to detail.
* Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Prior experience with F&O system desirable.
