Job Title: Food Safety & Quality Auditor (Night Shift)
Vickerstock are partnering with our FMCG client, renowned for their commitment to authenticity and excellence, to join the team based in Newtownards.
This role is part of the Quality Assurance Team, reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Team Leader. Your primary responsibilities will involve maintaining high standards and ensuring best practice is followed by Operations, enhancing food safety and compliance standards through audits and checks across site.
You will be guided by the Quality Assurance Team Lead, focusing on delivering the highest product standards while meeting business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) applicable to the Technical Department.
The position requires conducting thorough audits of processes, systems, and products to ensure compliance with established food safety and quality assurance protocols, including HACCP standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining high standards and ensuring best practice is followed by Operations
* Enhancing food safety and compliance standards through audits and checks across site
* Delivering the highest product standards while meeting business KPIs
* Conducting thorough audits of processes, systems, and products to ensure compliance with HACCP standards

Requirements:
* Proven experience in a Technical / QA role, preferably within a food production / Pharmaceutical Environment, or Degree in Food-related discipline
* Strong understanding of HACCP principles and their application in quality management
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
* Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
* Strong Computer skills
* Proficient in MS Office
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings clearly
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Desirable Criteria:
* HACCP Level 2 Qualifications
* Food Safety Level 2 Qualifications
* Proficient in Managing Customer's Technical Portals (Erudus, Opri, etc)
* Experience of Sage 200 in a production environment
