We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Structural Engineer to lead and establish a new Structural Engineering Division. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to head up a new department, taking ownership of all aspects of fire safety design and consultancy services.
See below for some of what you will be doing:
Lead the development and management of the Structural Engineering Division, setting its strategic direction
Take ownership of structural engineering design for all projects
Manage the division’s workflow, overseeing project delivery from concept through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Provide expert technical guidance on structural design, analysis, and modelling across all projects.
Collaborate with other divisions within the company, including civil, MEP, and fire engineering teams, to deliver integrated, multidisciplinary solutions.
What you will need to have for this role:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
7-10 years of experience in structural engineering, ideally within a consultancy environment.
Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland or an equivalent professional institution.
Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing teams or divisions.
Strong technical expertise in structural analysis, design, and modelling for various building types.
Extensive knowledge of Irish building regulations and relevant structural standards.
