Job Title: Regional Facilities Manager
The company, a state-owned utility company, is seeking a Regional Facilities Manager to oversee the management of its facilities across the West North Region.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all facilities management services for Commercial Buildings and Operational sites in the West North Region, including reception services, spatial planning, capital project support, cleaning, catering, postal services, and building maintenance.
• Support the Facilities Team on strategically important projects involving Offices, National Stores, and Depots, Laboratories, etc.
• Oversee the delivery of all operational activities planned, corrective, reactive, and emergencies associated with assigned properties, ensuring safe completion on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Manage day-to-day facilities issues, acting as an escalation point and taking ownership of problems until resolution.
• Conduct regular meetings with Senior Managers to discuss current and future facilities and space requirements, managing office moves and supporting agile working policy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders, attending meetings to ensure successful FM delivery, promoting a strong customer service culture, and providing high-quality, responsive, and effective service to customers.
• Liaise with Regional Operational teams to ensure FM services meet business demands, collaborate with Local Authority Staff, and manage commercial aspects of contracts.
• Ensure delivery of FM services within annual operational budgets, identifying and managing risks, and developing operational budgets for the West North Region.
• Direct third-party contracts and resources to deliver FM services, manage and authorize commercial aspects of contracts, and participate in Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and disaster recovery planning.
• Promote Sustainability, Energy, and Environmental policies, manage set-up and mobilization of new properties, and support Capital Projects team on ongoing capital upgrades.
• Manage FM in line with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental requirements, liaising with HSQE on risk assessments, audits, incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with statutory and legislative requirements.
• Build relationships with Landlords, raise risks and issues to the National Facilities Operations Manager, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Relevant third-level qualification in Facilities Management/Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience.
• Previous experience initiating and maintaining strategic relationships, influencing skills, conflict and crisis management, excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to manage time and workload effectively.
• Full clean Driver's License.
