About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious Sales/Business Development professional to join our team in Galway, Ireland. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing the Van Sales and Authorised Distributors for the West of Ireland.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Achieve agreed yearly and quarterly targets by managing existing business, generating new business, and providing effective after-sales service.
* Manage depot returns to keep them within agreed percentage targets as specified by the Regional Sales Manager.
* Ensure all stock from delivery to sales is reconciled and properly accounted for at all times.
* Maintain company fleet vehicles and adhere to the accident report procedure at all times.
* Report operational matters accurately as required by regional manager and Company Management.
About You
* You have a background in sales or business development and are looking for your next career step.
* You excel in a busy work schedule and have strong time management skills.
* You have commercial awareness of the food industry, but this is not essential.
* You hold a full clean Irish/European driving license.
* You can participate and contribute to sales strategy discussions and be a team player.
