Abrivia Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Manager for a global Financial Services client. The successful candidate will report to the HR Director. This key role is responsible for leading and optimising day-to-day human resources operations while ensuring compliance with Irish employment legislation. The successful candidate will foster a collaborative and positive workplace culture while driving operational excellence in HR practices.
Key Responsibilities Manage all HR operations, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, succession planning, retention strategies, and offboarding.Design and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with Irish labour laws and industry standards.Oversee employee records, payroll administration, and benefits to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.Provide expert guidance on HR-related matters and collaborate with various departments to address workforce challenges.Monitor and evaluate key HR metrics and ensure the timely completion of relevant reports.Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Irish labour legislation, ensuring organisational adherence to all relevant regulations.Oversee annual leave processes in line with Irish employment laws.Leverage expertise with the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) to manage employee grievances, disputes, and investigations effectively.Ensure meticulous documentation of compliance-related records, including WRC cases.Analyse complex HR challenges and deliver innovative, well-informed solutions.Address employee relations concerns with efficiency and professionalism.Lead and manage organisational changes, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring initiatives.Utilise strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.Build and sustain effective relationships with employees, leadership, and external partners.Inspire, coach, and develop HR team members, promoting engagement and collaboration.Manage HR resources and budgets effectively.Prioritise employee engagement in all aspects of HR leadership.Qualifications and Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years in a senior HR role with proven leadership and team management experience.Must have a Degree in Human Resources (a master's degree or professional HR certification is advantageous).Strong understanding of Irish labour laws, WRC processes, and HR compliance.CIPD qualification and membership are desirable.Proficient in HR systems, with experience in Workday being a strong advantage.Exceptional organisational, project management, and problem-solving skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining ethical and regulatory standards.If you are interested in this role, please apply via the link below to get in touch with Valerie Mc Nulty.
