BAM IT provides the entire BAM organisation with IT services from a continuously expanding portfolio. The Business Partnering team is part of the Business Success department that is playing a key role in the BAM technology strategy. BAM IT is currently working on a transformation to strengthen its position to be able to adapt to changing demands from the business and operate more decisively in executing projects.
To be effective in this junior role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including middle management and frontline management ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting the IT business partners in managing day to day operational technology utilization and efficiency. You understand the business priorities, processes and information requirements. You support the business objectives, assist with the strategic developments and priorities. You have good knowledge of BAM’s market and processes. You are a ‘trusted advisor’ on digitalisation to realise added value in our business operations. You are able to create an IT environment where BAM staff are keen to continuously improve their IT literacy and have the tools and training available to do so.
You will coordinate with the stakeholders of the other business units within BAM and their IT Business Partners, including identifying and further developing potential synergies. This is because another important objective for this team is assist the Application Director with the rationalisation of the BAM UK&I Application portfolio. You review and escalate business change requests that will shape the Application Portfolio Management process in BAM.
In addition, close collaboration with the Business Success Director and Digital Construction Director working on IT technology projects, is of high importance regarding user technology experience, day to day operational escalations to IT foundation and service delivery teams, Digital toolkit administration, IT communications, reporting and analysing technology customer feedback.
Your mission

Who are we looking for?
Demonstrate and evidence IT business partnering and relationship management
Multiyear experience of planning, implementing business strategy and technology systems across a UK /Ireland business
Hands-on, proactive and ambitious attitude
A good working knowledge of business strategy at senior levels
Ability to communicate with people at all levels and influence change within the business
Proficient in defining and analysing requirements, agreeing scope and priorities, managing and implementing systems
Experience in managing, coaching, mentoring and developing others.
The successful candidate will be required to travel to Northern Ireland and the UK
