Niall Clarke's Oil are currently looking for a full-time Back Office Administrator to join their fantastic team.
OBJECTIVE
To ensure the cash office operates efficiently and professionally in line with the Company standard operating procedures. Compiling store reports and carrying out store administration to assist the store manager.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Balancing cash and preparing cash and cheque lodgements
2. Balancing EFT reads
3. Balancing individual cash drawers
4. Balancing loyalty and coupon transactions
5. Entering supplier rebates
6. Completing all required paperwork and filing of same
7. Completing the cash book
8. Daily reporting of lodgements and cash movements to head office
9. Ensuring adequate change on premises for floats and preparing lodgements for cash and coin
10. Balancing of Payzone and Lottery reads
11. Keeping customer accounts within terms, issuing statements and processing payments
12. Checking irregular dockets (returns, voids, open drawers, terminations and suspensions)
13. Ad hoc cash office duties as directed
14. To know and understand company policies and procedures and ensure they are implemented effectively. HR & TMS store administration. Liaising with Head Office HR & Payroll team ensuring all relevant administrative duties are completed at store level.
15. Escalate issues to store manager as appropriate. To communicate with the store manager on an ongoing basis
16. To undertake sales floor duties as may be assigned by the store manager typical of the Company’s core business - Retailing
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Prior experience of working in a cash office and administration
2. Ability to meet tight deadlines
3. Excellent problem-solving skills
4. Good knowledge of Excel
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work on own initiative
7. Strong attention to detail
8. Ability to train colleagues on all aspects of the cash office
