Project Quantity Surveyor - Intermediate - Main Contractor - North Dublin, Dublin
Office/Project Location: Dublin
Employment Type: Permanent
Experience: 4+ years
Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required
Our client is one of Ireland’s leading construction contractors working on a range of projects in the Commercial, Fit Out, Residential and Industrial sectors. They are seeking intermediate/project quantity surveyors to join the Dublin-based teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Post tender and pre contract activities: familiarisation with the tender file and assisting with preparing commercial targets for the project.
2. During the contract period: procurement of subcontractors, attending pre-award meetings, documentation and schedules, applications, variation schedules, measurement, controlling accounts, payments, in-house reports, contractual correspondence and final account.
3. During the post contract period: finalise subcontractor accounts and complete all filing and other documentation.
Requirements:
1. Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management.
2. 3+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role on construction projects with building contractors.
3. Must have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
4. Strong understanding of the construction industry and working on site.
5. Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals.
Package:
Salary €55k-€80k depending on experience. Attractive rewards package, including car allowance, pension scheme, professional subscriptions and other benefits, including opportunities for additional responsibility and career development, will be available to the successful candidates.
