Sales Person to join our client's team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive sales of a comprehensive range of farm machinery, develop new customer relationships, and maintain existing ones.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for the agricultural sector, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop a new customer base within the assigned sales area through proactive prospecting and networking.
* Conduct cold calling to identify potential customers and promote the company's products and services.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring their needs are met.
* Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the business.
* Prepare and deliver tailored sales presentations to meet customers' specific needs.
* Maintain uptodate knowledge of the company's product range and market trends.
* Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring timely followup and accurate recordkeeping.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including service and parts, to provide comprehensive customer solutions.
* Represent the company at trade shows, agricultural events, and other promotional activities.
Qualifications & Experience: - Proven experience in sales, preferably in the agricultural or farm machinery sector (not essential but advantageous).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
* Selfmotivated and goaloriented, with a proactive approach to sales.
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
* Basic understanding of farm machinery and the agricultural industry is an advantage.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Autoview is a plus.
* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the assigned area.
