Job Description
Person in Charge
The Person in Charge will be responsible for supporting the Centre on a full-time contract. This role will suit experienced candidates with strong organisational and management skills, or those who wish to progress in their careers in a healthcare setting.
* To ensure Personal Plans, Risk Assessments and Behavioural Support Plans are up to date.
* To deliver services to the highest possible quality and safety standards.
* To meet regulation compliance in accordance with Health ACT 2007 (Care and support of residents in designated centres for persons (Children and Adults; with disabilities) Regulations 2013.
* To manage the staff team to provide support to people who use this service.
* To coordinate input from other individuals such as members of the Clinical Team and other departmental supports.
Key Responsibilities
The Person in Charge will be responsible for:
* Providing mentorship and leadership to their team daily.
* Formal supervisions, appraisals and monthly team meetings.
* Overseeing the service across shifts to ensure effective and efficient services are delivered within the centre.
* Maintaining the highest level of infection control standards.
* Being an active leader and role model of the team.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A Level 7/8 Degree in a Health or Social related qualification.
* Full Clean Drivers license.
* Minimum 3 years managerial experience within a similar health or social care setting.
* Strong leadership skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills and judgement.
* Critical decision-making capabilities.
