Job Description
An M&E Resident Engineer is sought to provide specific Water project expertise for a Client based role in County Meath. The successful candidate will review, advise and supervise MEICA Project installations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Specialise in Mechanical & Electrical elements of the works.
* Drive delivery of projects on site on behalf of Uisce Éireann with a focus on health & safety, time management, cost control and quality assurance.
* Ensure works are carried out in accordance with contract documents.
* Monitor and report on works progress to Employer's Requirements.
* Implement Uisce Éireann's safety policies and standards on construction projects.
* Review and comment on project/site specific HSQE documentation.
* Monitor compliance with contract health and safety requirements.
* Carry out weekly documented health and safety site reviews.
* Actively participate in Uisce Éireann HSQE team monthly inspections.
Requirements:
* At least 7 years' postgraduate experience in site supervision, contract administration and project management of MEICA works.
* A Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
* Knowledge of civil engineering works, design build operate projects and project management.
* Strong knowledge and experience of Health and Safety procedures and regulations.
* A current and valid SafePass card and Confined Spaces training.
Preferred Qualifications:
* FIDIC and Public Works forms of contract experience would be advantageous.
