Contracts ManagerJob PurposeAs part of an exciting company expansion project, Designer Group is seeking a Contracts Manager to join our Operations team. As Contracts Manager, you will lead project operations across various contracts that run concurrently, in line with our company values. You will be responsible for ensuring the projects are delivered on time, on budget, to the highest quality standards, and exceeding client's expectations. Our approach is underpinned by our Values of:SafeTrustRespectChallengeDeliverThis is an exciting time for Designer Group, with the fruits of our Engineering Our Future Strategy 2025 reflected in our substantial pipeline of work in Ireland, Europe, Africa, and South America.Roles and ResponsibilitiesInvolvement in estimation preparations, packs, and support.Design development, value engineering, pre and post-contract commencement.Ensure the highest levels of commercial management are adhered to and commercial targets are achieved while working in conjunction with Project QS.Manage all aspects of procurement, including subcontractors and plant/equipment.Oversee the contracting process with chosen subcontractors/specialists and ensure works are carried out correctly and per contract and relevant specifications.Closely monitor the usage of materials and resources on projects.Ensure weekly progress reports are issued, including RFIs, procurement schedules, technical submittals, programme updates, and identification of critical issues specific to projects.Hold regular meetings with both the design team and subcontractors.Oversee and execute the effective control and use of both labour and materials on projects.Be responsible for implementing company Health and Safety Procedures and reporting to the Company’s Health and Safety Manager.Actively engage in Business Development to obtain future opportunities for the company.Maintain and build upon good working relationships with internal & external stakeholders of the business.Qualifications and SkillsIdeally, 10+ years of experience in an M&E background.Third Level Degree desirable, not essential.Person SpecificationAbility to demonstrate leadership while building strong working relationships.Collaborative stakeholder management.Good interpersonal & written communication skills.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Application ProcessIf you are excited about this opportunity and meet the qualifications mentioned above, we would love to hear from you.
