IT Support Engineer
A key client of ours is seeking an innovative and dynamic IT support engineer to play a pivotal role in supporting the entire organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with colleagues on ongoing software and IT requirements.
* Maintain and develop internal IT network, including user stations, core network, hybrid server solution, and cyber security.
* Maintain an internal ticket logging system and oversee satisfactory measured response times.
* Onboard and offboard IT systems.
* Develop a strategic IT plan and liaise with colleagues on their needs, recommending industry-leading solutions.
* Lead the rollout and implementation of the plan, supported by partners and providers as needed.
* Manage IT procurement and serve as the key contact point for vendors and associate products.
* Maintain Cyber ISO certification and lead the internal team through audits to ensure robust processes, procedures, staff training, and policies are in operation.
* Develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan, focusing on backup, protection, and cyber security products and policies.
* Liaise with staff, suppliers, and clients as needed.
* Collaborate with functional teams to ensure smooth daily operations and support organisational needs.
Requirements:
* Third-level degree in Computer Science or similar field.
* 5 years of experience in network management and desktop support.
* Familiarity with major cloud platforms, such as MS Azure.
* Experience with VMWare and Hyper V.

Estimated salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, based on the location and job requirements.
