Purpose of the Job:
The NPI Program Manager will oversee new product introduction (NPI) and roll out to emerging markets of select new product launches, from development through to commercialization.
Major Responsibilities:
* Acts as global leader for cross-functional NPI project teams.
* Collates stakeholder deliverables in support of market roll out.
* Works closely with Operations / Supply Chain / Regional Marketing / Regulatory / R&D functions.
* Translates strategies into program/project plans.
* Develops NPI project timeline and holds team accountable to critical milestone dates.
* Affects Project Plans and changes to project stakeholders.
* Ensures cross-functional members work as a 'team' focused on business unit goals identified.
* Manages communications for effective project management and coordination.
* Supports launch related deliverables tracked for NPI Phase Gate Reviews.
* Identifies and escalates project risks and communicates status to internal and external stakeholders.
* Prioritizes work and resources to best meet IDEM priorities and financial targets.
* Establishes proactive, transparent, and effective communications cadence.
* Measures and reports on time execution of launch activities.
Education & Competencies:
* Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, engineering, science, IT or business disciplines.
* 7+ years experience in Project Management, Research & Development, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or related function.
* One or more professional certifications or equivalent experience.
* Experience in program management of new product through the development and product life-cycle processes.
* Experience in infectious disease diagnostic testing.
* Strong communication skills in English in written and verbal.
* Able to influence without authority.
* Able to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
* Able to create & manage a vision, think strategically, plan and organize, innovate, analyze complex data and situations, and exercise sound judgment.
