The company also provides passenger operations on its B737 Charter service from Dublin and in 2014 commenced B757 transatlantic passenger operations for Aer Lingus.Job DescriptionJob descriptionJob Title: Line Maintenance Controller (Boeing)Reports to: MCC ManagerDepartment: Maintenance Control Centre, Head Office, Swords, Co DublinShift Pattern: 12 Hours Shifts Day 0700-1900, Night 1900-0700 Line Maintenance Controller (Boeing) Key Responsibilities:Proactively monitor and control the technical operation from within the MCC to ensure safety and operational integrity is maintainedTrack and control aircraft defects and formulate plans to ensure timely rectificationProvide instant technical assistance and direction to flight crew and line engineersIdentify recurring defects and trends and construct rectification plans including in-depth troubleshooting for rectificationLiaise with different departments and MRO’s for service recoveryCoordinate the recovery of AOG aircraftFormulate and implement plans for service recovery after technical delays or service failuresRepresent MCC’s interests with other departments, aircraft manufacturers and other suppliersShall maintain competence on the basis of continued education and training in their area of responsibility.
