Job Description
Our client is seeking to speak with Lube Technician to Manage all lubrication, project & improvement activities through use of a CMMS system
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Carry out all Planned Lubrication routines and jobs as detailed by the chargehand or manager to ensure reliability of equipment
2. Responsibility for Lubrication improvement activities as directed
3. Draining and cleaning of reservoirs; Filling and maintaining level on reservoirs; Changing filters and breathers on reservoirs; Operating filtration equipment
4. Coordination of inventory and routine ordering of Lubrication products
5. Responsibility for the storage of all Lubricants onsite
6. Labelling and tagging reservoirs, equipment, inventory and delivery containers
7. Schedule, collect, label and mail oil samples with requisite details, for analysis and perform basic evaluation of oil analysis results and recommend current and future maintenance actions
8. Troubleshoot common lubrication-related procedural and equipment problems
9. Carry out predictive maintenance tasks and routines if requested - i.e. vibration analysis, ultrasound, thermal imaging etc
TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE
10. Min five (5) years relevant experience in heavy industry or wood processing plant in the following fields: machinery lubrication, engineering, mechanical maintenance and/or maintenance trades
11. Machine Lubricant Analyst qualification is an advantage
12. Knowledge of LEAN maintenance practices an advantage
13. Strong communication, project management, organizational & interpersonal skill
14. Self-motivated, enthusiastic with ability to deliver to deadlines
15. Proven track record of managing maintenance work through to completion
16. Experience of CMMS systems an advantage
