Job Description:
Who will you be working for?
You will be working for one of Ireland's largest banks, who are based in south Dublin. They provide a full range of personal, business and corporate banking services. In recent years, their business has been restructured with the aim of becoming a customer-focused, profitable and lower risk institution, well positioned to support economic recovery in Ireland while seeking to generate sustainable shareholder returns. Working as a Comms Lead, you will be immersed in the technological and progressive culture that exists in the company.
What will you be working on?
You will be an integral part of a large transformation programme, playing an important role in creating and owning a communications strategy by writing to customers, acting as the customer advocate for communications in line with the organisation's values. You will be responsible for governance, and documenting feedback from a wider range of stakeholders for multiple items while catering to all customer types. You will build the approval forum deck, setting the scene behind the letters and the rationale for the key points outlined in the letter, co-ordinating the minutes, actions etc. You will co-ordinate the end-to-end review and the sign-off process, along with engaging other project teams/squads to help define communications approach and strategy to implement key business solutions and communicate with customers.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for candidates with strong experience in a Communications Lead or Senior Comms role within financial services and/or banking. Previous customer comms experience of a large-scale programme is a distinct advantage, along with experience of championing the customer through the appropriate communications approach. Excellent stakeholder management, and relationship building skills are imperative for this role, along with being well-organised and able to manage multiple communication activities concurrently.
What you'll get in return
You will receive an initial 6-month contract with a strong scope for extension, competitive daily and hybrid working opportunities (2 days onsite per week, flexible). You will work for the first bank in Ireland to receive the Investors in Diversity Gold Standard for Diversity and Inclusion and in an environment in which talented individuals of all backgrounds can realise their full potential.
