About the Role:
As a Financial & Regulatory Reporting Manager, you will contribute to ensuring compliance with all financial and regulatory reporting requirements. This role involves working within the local team and collaborating with the UHG wider team to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with Irish & US GAAP and Solvency II regulatory requirements, meeting strict deadlines.
* Lead internal and external audit planning, delivery, supervision, and reporting.
* Develop knowledge of data flow and architecture within various platforms and identify opportunities for process improvement in a rapidly expanding business.
* Collaborate with support departments (Treasury, Tax, Actuarial, Shared Services, IT, etc.) to ensure seamless coordination.
* Work with stakeholders and business functions on finance-related projects.
* Document processes and procedures, identifying best practices.
Required Qualifications:
* Professional accounting certification (ACCA, ACA, etc.).
* Experience with Irish GAAP financial accounting and European Solvency II reporting.
* Strong financial accounting background and technical skills in financial reporting and analysis.
* Ideal experience with Corporate Financial Accounting Systems, Interactive Data Software, and advanced MS Excel skills, including data analysis (e.g., PeopleSoft, Power BI, MS Excel).
* Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, prioritize, and work both independently and as a team player.
* Relevant PQE in the EU Insurance industry is a distinct advantage.
