Responsibilities:
* Event Coordination:
o Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of conferences, banquets, and special events, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
o Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences, ensuring tailored service for their events.
* Team Leadership:
o Supervise and lead the C&B team, providing training and support to ensure consistent high-quality service.
o Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefings to ensure clarity on expectations and continuous improvement.
* Guest Experience:
o Monitor guest satisfaction throughout events, addressing any concerns or issues promptly to ensure a seamless experience.
o Actively engage with guests to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere during events.
* Setup and Preparation:
o Oversee the setup and breakdown of function rooms, ensuring that all arrangements meet client specifications and are executed to the highest standard.
o Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient service during events.
* Compliance and Safety:
o Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and licensing laws.
o Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all C&B areas before, during, and after events.
* Reporting and Administration:
o Assist in maintaining accurate records of events, including attendance, feedback, and financial performance, to inform future planning and improvements.
o Collaborate with the C&B Manager on budget management and cost control to optimize profitability.
Requirements:
* Experience:
o Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the conferences and banqueting sector or hospitality industry is preferred.
* Leadership Skills:
o Strong leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and inspire a team.

o Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences for guests.
