Applicants should have a recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy and be registered with CORU. They should have good knowledge and understanding of Orthopaedic inpatients and/or Orthopaedic Rehabilitation and/or Older Person's rehabilitation. A holistic, patient-centred approach is essential in their practice. Organisational skills are also required, along with excellent interpersonal skills and proven verbal and written communication skills.
Previous experience in an acute hospital environment, a physical rehabilitation setting, and working as part of an inter-disciplinary team are desirable. This is a rotational post that allows for the opportunity to complete rotations in Elective Orthopaedics with Hand Therapy and/or Paediatrics & Rehabilitation for Older Persons.
