We are currently looking for a Full-time Facilities Assistant to join our team in Dublin 8.
Working pattern: Monday-Friday from 08:30-17:00
Job Description
* Events, Meeting Rooms & all hospitality spaces must be presentable at all times.
* Work closely with the Client Workplace Team for all meeting & event requests and ensure continuous monitoring of the client's event calendar.
* Manage last minute/urgent requests in a timely manner and problem solve challenges as required.
* Ensure hands on training is applied, particularly to ensure the Client's property is cared for and maintained as much as possible (i.e., furniture, equipment).
* Assist in emergencies such as light leaks, spills, etc.
* Perform light repairs around the building.
* Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks such as Water Flushing and Building Condition Reviews.
* Respond to soft service calls logged with the facilities help desk. Investigate the nature of the problems and seek a speedy resolution.
* Ensure maintenance issues are logged on the CAFM/ticketing system and escalated as appropriate.
* Support the Facilities Team with additional tasks as needed.
* Be proactive in communicating with the Facilities Team Manager and helping to find solutions when needed.
* Carry out weekly fire bell tests.
* Record ESB meter readings by the last week of the month and provide data to Client.
* Any other ad-hoc duties which may be required from time to time.
Requirements
* A can-do attitude.
* Experience in a similar role.
* An excellent working knowledge of English.
* Knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices.
* Flexible approach to demand and working hours (possibly involving evenings and weekends).
