Beechwood Veterinary Clinic is seeking a part-time animal care assistant to join their team in Ranelagh, Dublin.
The Role
* Permanent position based in Beechwood Vets
* Part-time role of 20 hours per week
* Role would suit a veterinary nurse student who is available to work 9-1pm on Saturdays plus 3/4 evenings a week (3/4pm-7pm)
* Salary is €13.50 per hour
* No Bank holidays/Sundays work

Applicant Requirements
We are seeking a trustworthy, reliable and friendly person able to work in a fast-paced veterinary practice environment. The successful applicant must have:
* A relevant qualification in animal care (QQI or similar) or Veterinary Nursing student
* Experience in veterinary or animal care is beneficial but not essential
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Be competent with computers and learning new IT systems
* Comfortable with cash handling
* Demonstrate high standards of hygiene and cleaning
* Be a team player
* Possess great organizational skills
* A love for animal welfare is a requirement

Beechwood Vets is a new, modern companion animal veterinary clinic with a young, vibrant team located in Ranelagh, Co Dublin – about 50 minutes from Wicklow. Our practice is easily accessible via public transport including the Luas and bus routes. Ranelagh is a terrific location known for its nightlife, spas, local parks and the amazing Stella theatre. We have all the usual equipment you’d need for a busy, modern practice including a fully equipped in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, multi-parameter anaesthetic monitor and ultrasound.
