Health & Safety Advisor
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join our team in Limerick. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment while fostering a culture of proactive safety management.
Responsibilities
* Conduct audits and inspections of workplaces as directed by the BU HSE Manager.
* Attend sites following accidents or incidents, assist with investigations, or lead investigations in the absence of the Project Director or HSE Manager.
* Support the HSE Manager in preparing Health and Safety reports for the BU MD.
* Alert the HSE Manager of any potential periods of inadequate Health and Safety coverage.
* Assist tender and prequalification teams with Health and Safety advice and practical solutions as needed.
* Participate in start-up meetings with your line manager and site teams.
* Attend supply chain meetings when requested.
* D deliver appropriate Health and Safety training to ensure compliance and promote safety awareness.
Requirements
* IOSH/NEBOSH qualification preferred, but not mandatory.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
* At least 3 years of experience as a Health and Safety professional.
* Experience with temporary works.
* Experience as an internal auditor.
* Strong organizational skills, time management abilities, and performance management experience.
