Safety Health and Environmental (SHE) Advisor
Cpl is partnering with SK pharmteco to seek a Safety Health and Environmental Advisor for a 12-month contract at Swords, Dublin. This role is based onsite.

Current Need:
SK pharmteco Ireland in Swords requires a SHE Advisor to join the Environmental Health and Safety Department on a contract basis. The successful candidate will provide environmental, health, and safety support for all operations at the SK biotek Manufacturing Facility, ensuring that the SHE Management system is maintained on an ongoing basis in conformance with the ISO Management Standards ISO 14001/45001, site Industrial Emissions Licence, corporate, and customer requirements.
Position Description:
* Develop, implement, and maintain training programs for health, safety, and the environment. Create interactive and stimulating training material. Provide SHE training where required.
* Support site environmental management programmes. Assist in preparing environmental reports for the company.
* Evaluate and report environmental performance to management, ensuring compliance with site Industrial Emissions Licence requirements.
* Collaborate with the in-house Environmental Laboratory Team to ensure efficient systems are in place for adherence to the Environmental sampling and testing program.
* Assist in preparing, implementing, and reviewing EHS Procedures and other EHS documents.
* Conduct walk-downs of operational areas to verify EHS standards. Coordinate area EHS assessments, compile area checklists, monitor completion of assessments and CAPA's. Document actions and drive towards closure.
* Perform EHS risk assessments.
* Maintain the Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001/14001) on a day-to-day basis.
* Identify and address site EHS issues and manage the employee SHE Concerns and Good Catches program.
* Provide support to functions for Incident & accident investigation (including root cause analysis and CAPA Management).
* Build relationships with key departments to foster support for EHS programs.
* Offer EHS technical support to relevant Departments and attend relevant safety & environmental meetings as part of that support process.
Requirements:
* A qualification in an SHE-related discipline, such as engineering, physical science, or biological science/chemistry, or equivalent experience required.
* A minimum of 1-year professional experience required in environment, health, and safety programs.
* Ability to make effective oral presentations and work as part of a team.
* Good communication skills required, both verbal and written.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Passionate about SHE, energetic, and brings a strong work ethic and focus to their work.
* Mindset of continuous improvement, proactive, pragmatic, and results/performance focused.
* An understanding of ISO 14001, 45001 management systems implementation.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in Integrated Pollution Prevention & Control (IPPC) or Industrial Emissions (IE) Licensing.
* Train the Trainer training and experience of delivering training.
* A minimum of 1-year relevant experience in cGMP environment.
