Your New Role
This role entails serving as an HR Officer in Fermoy, reporting directly to the HR Manager for the ROI region. The primary responsibilities involve providing comprehensive HR support to the Fermoy site and its management team. This includes managing end-to-end recruitment processes, onboarding procedures, tracking and reporting HR metrics, handling HR administration tasks, supporting performance management initiatives, and overseeing grievance and disciplinary investigations. In addition, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Group Head of HR on various projects and provide operational and strategic HR support to line managers and the Head of HR.
Key Requirements for Success
The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of experience in HR, preferably within a manufacturing environment. A third-level qualification is mandatory, and CIPD membership is highly desirable. Strong administrative skills, coupled with the ability to maintain confidentiality and operate professionally, are essential. Additionally, the candidate should exhibit strong computer skills, flexibility, adaptability, and the capacity to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines. A results-driven, customer-focused, and collaborative team-oriented mindset is also crucial. Effective interpersonal, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills are necessary, along with being highly organized, attentive to detail, possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Please note that own transport is essential due to the company's location, which is not accessible by public transport.
