We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Building Surveyor to join our team and deliver exceptional service. This is a permanent vacancy with a competitive salary range of 50,000 - 55,000.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze building defects, collect information, and measurements.
* Conduct Technical Due Diligence (TDD) surveys and write detailed reports.
* Provide reasoned advice and recommendations with detailed reports.
* Serve as Contract Administrator, ensuring smooth project execution.
* Manage projects, including overseeing specialists and sub-consultants.
* Prepare designs and specifications at various stages.
* Report on progress and quality of third-party building works.
* Prepare condition records and schedules of dilapidations.
* Conduct Reinstatement Cost Assessments (RCAs).
* Advise on historic property preservation and conservation.
* Supervise building maintenance and prepare maintenance schedules.
* Monitor development projects.
* Manage health and safety compliance as Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP).
* Understand building mechanical and electrical systems.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
* Minimum two years post-qualification experience.
* Chartered Building Surveyor with SCSI or RICS membership.
* Flexible working hours based on client needs.
* Ability to manage instructions and maintain client relationships.
* Understanding of commercial property.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong report writing skills with attention to detail.
