As a Planning Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in overseeing multi-million-dollar projects across new markets. This role offers the opportunity to work independently in a collaborative environment, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
1. Developing and maintaining companywide project reporting dashboard and reporting into board.
2. Responsible for company resource/labour mapping and reporting.
3. Responsible for the professional development of project planners.
4. Production, development and management of project schedules (Design, Pre-construction, Procurement, Offsite fabrication, Construction and Commissioning).
5. Working on and assisting project managers to develop accurate programme of works files.
6. Generating Labour histograms, progress reports for team, management, client, and stakeholders.
7. Monitoring and reporting on project progress.
8. Identifying any issues in the planning process and assisting in solving to a satisfactory conclusion.
9. Working with multiple teams across different sectors.
10. Responsibility for compliance with company standards and procedures.
11. Liaising with Directors, Management and Project team.
12. Assisting with company expansion plans.
13. Working with junior/intermediate project planners.
Candidate requirements:
1. 10+ years’ experience in a project planning role within the construction industry, 3+ years in a lead or management role.
2. Relevant Qualification in Primavera P6, Asta and Microsoft Project.
3. Self-motivated organized individual.
4. Ability to work to tight deadlines.
5. Ability to work on own initiative.
6. Negotiation skills, Scheduling and time management.
7. Experience using Microsoft 365 suite of programs.
