They have implemented BIM across their office as the preferred system for information production and dissemination. As a result, they are now seeking a forward-thinking BIM Manager to join the team and manage over 55 design and technical professionals.
About Your New Job:
In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of BIM processes across the practice, working closely with our talented team to streamline workflows, enhance project efficiency, and meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Key responsibilities:
1. Implementing BIM Level 2 procedures in accordance with PAS 1192-2:2013, PAS 1192-3:2014, BIM Protocols, and Construction Operations Building Information Exchange (COBie) standards, including Employer's Information Requirements (EIR), BIM Execution Plan (BEP), and Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP).
2. Provide training to all staff in the use of BIM processes and in REVIT training.
3. Create Revit user manuals and standards, and provide quality control to ensure BIM standards are maintained in the development of Architectural Revit Models while supporting in troubleshooting problems.
4. Liaise with subcontractors and the design team, reporting to managers to develop a BIM Strategy.
5. Manage the implementation of supporting software for BIM, develop a "best practice" for Revit users and other related BIM Software, constantly maintain and improve Revit templates and families, and deliver CPD in BIM documentation, workflow processes, and Revit standards.
What Skills You Need:
1. A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management is necessary.
2. An industry-recognized BIM Certification is advantageous.
3. At least 3-5 years of experience working in a BIM-related role, with involvement in large-scale architectural projects. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams (architecture, engineering, and construction) is essential.
4. Strong leadership and project management skills.
