The Finance competency at EY is a multifaceted team that focuses on providing expert guidance and support to clients in navigating complex regulatory landscapes, managing and analyzing finance and risk data, and implementing finance transformation initiatives. Our goal is to drive the finance functions’ effectiveness, agility, and value contribution within the clients' organization which can include integration of new technologies, optimization of processes, and the adoption of innovative practices.
We are looking for an experienced senior manager with a proven track record in leadership of complex finance transformation delivery projects within the Financial Services Industry in Ireland or the UK.
Your Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a person with finance and risk regulatory reporting experience, a track record in project and team leadership, client relationship management excellence, communication, business acumen, and a passion for innovation.
Client Responsibilities:
* Manage or support engagements with our clients and provide high-quality consulting services to a portfolio of clients.
* Understand EY’s service offerings and actively support in identifying opportunities to better serve clients across our range of services.
* Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks.
* Assist on business development opportunities and support proposal development efforts.
* Manage innovation in processes and systems, leveraging technology to enhance client performance.
Practice and People Development Responsibilities:
* Manage and lead diverse teams with varying skill sets.
* Adapt your leadership style to fit team, client, and their cultural needs.
* Contribute to expanding our brand in the market by attending relevant events and collaborating with other internal teams.
* Engage in business development activities including input to client presentations and proposals.
* Foster a supportive, inclusive, and growth-oriented team culture.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
* Excellent client relationship management skills, gained through prior consulting roles or within large financial services/technology organizations.
* Proven track record in relevant management and leadership roles in data-centric projects.
* Expertise in key finance regulatory reporting or regulatory change programs.
* Understanding of finance processes, finance technologies, and operating models.
* Minimum of 7+ years in delivering regulatory reporting or finance transformation programs.
* An accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) applied in a financial institution would be beneficial.
* Understanding of technology trends and implications on the Financial Services industry.
* Strong communication skills, with experience of managing strategy material and presenting to key stakeholders.
* Experience of delivering change through multi-disciplinary stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to manage, supervise, and develop others.
* Experience with SQL, data governance tooling, BI tools, and data platforms.
