Objectives For The Role:
* Full responsibility for all activity relating to the delivery of our merchandising and marketing services to our clients.
* To ensure that all our field staff are fully briefed on their daily activity.
* To ensure our systems are understood and correctly used by all direct reports.
* To ensure our field-based staff are empowered to deliver the services we offer by supporting them through onboarding, training and ongoing communication.
* You must ensure your assigned geographical location is adequately staffed by creating a recruitment plan for your area and utilising the services of the recruitment specialist.
* Carry out any relevant activity to manage the performance of your direct reports, including recognition for exemplary work and disciplinary or improvement processes where deemed necessary.
* Ensure the health and safety policies of the business are adhered to and that your direct reports have a safe and enjoyable workplace experience.
Main Responsibilities:
* Responsible for all outbound communications to field-based staff, including scheduling, communicating briefs in an understandable format, ensuring daily activities will be completed and identifying potential issues before the day is finished.
* You are responsible for the output of your merchandisers. Our goal is to make our customers' products and services look fantastic; you will be judged on the performance and quality of your merchandisers.
* Responsible for the initial and ongoing training of field-based staff. Using all of the resources at your disposal, ensure that for every task that is to be completed by a member of staff, a full training session has been provided.
* Developing a robust recruitment plan to meet the needs of a service delivery model reliant on ad hoc workers.
* Full responsibility for query management in your assigned location. All correspondence from external and internal customers needs to be resolved satisfactorily within the agreed SLA.
* Always keep profitability in mind when scheduling calls; analyze key metrics such as cost per activity and calls per day.
* Manage and control all mileage claims within your area.
* Manage and control all company-owned and client-owned assets in the field.
* Always be solutions-driven and look for the best outcomes for our customers.
This role is hybrid. Primarily you'll be based in your region but will be required to travel to the office when necessary.
