About the role Energia, part of Energia Group, have an exciting opportunity for Civil Engineers based in Dublin. These new roles, reporting to the Senior Civil Engineer, will support our Renewables team with projects across onshore, offshore, solar, battery and other renewable technologies. These key roles will be a fundamental part of our team, by providing advice and expertise in relation to Civil Engineering. As this team is in growth phase, this role presents an exciting opportunity to join at the early stages of project development and plays a vital role in our contribution to the energy transition. What we offer 25 days holiday per year Plus 10 statutory Annual cost of living salary review Performance based bonus of up to 10% of your salary Pension scheme - A generous matching pension scheme Career progression - Great opportunities and year round learning Fully paid private medical insurance Opportunity to buy extra holidays Employee assistance programme (Counselling Service) Family friendly policies including enhanced maternity pay Wellbeing / L&D calendars Membership of sports and social clubs Subsidised gym membership Car parking Cycle to work scheme options Your key responsibilities and accountabilities Day-to-day, here s what your new role would look like: • Provide Civil Engineering solutions for renewable energy projects and ensuring alignment with project schedules. • Contribute technical input from site selection to construction completion. • Advise on budget costs and programme durations for civil/structural elements. • Develop, manage and review land mapping for review and acceptance. • Update civil requirements/specifications for contract documents. • Assist in tender document preparation and tendering processes. • Review contractor designs and quality records. • Support, supervise and manage site work on project sites as needed. • Develop best practice assessment tools continuously. • Conduct design reviews of substation design submissions. Our key criteria These are the qualifications, experience, skills, or knowledge you must have: • Third level qualification in Civil Engineering or similar discipline. • At least 3 years experience in the design or delivery of projects. • Proven experience in using AutoCAD / Civil 3D • Demonstrable experience of being on live construction / heavy civil engineering projects. • Proven experience of preparing drawings, designs and reports to the project team and management. • Current driving license and access to a vehicle. Our desirable criteria These help decide between talent who meet all the essential criteria: • Proven experience in the Renewables area. • Experience in Substation Construction at 110 and 220 kV voltage levels. • Proven experience in the development and delivery of large-scale civil engineering projects.
