About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to support the company's growth and expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative assistance to the team, ensuring the smooth operation of the back office functions.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Proficiency in SAGE Line 50 is essential, as well as experience working in a construction environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also required, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* All Bank payments and Subcontractor payments
* ISO Accreditation and Insurance Certificates
* Health & Safety administration and VISA applications for European travel
* Job Costings and PA duties
* Reconciliation of invoices with payments, including BACS or cheque payments as required
* VAT management, including quarterly VAT returns and monthly intrastat and EC Sales information
Requirements
* 4-5 years' experience in an administrator or accounts role, preferably in construction
* Strong knowledge of SAGE Line 50
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
