**Job Title:** Accounts Assistant
**Reports to:** Finance Manager
**Holiday Allowance:** 20 days per annum pro rata
**Working Hours:** 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Occasional flexibility may be required due to business demands.

**Job Purpose:
Support the finance team in recording and retrieving financial details, maintaining financial records, and processing payments under the guidance of the Finance Manager.
The successful candidate will contribute to all areas of the finance function and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:
• Dispatch of Finished Goods: Ensure accurate invoicing and reconcile haulage sheets and delivery programmes.
• Invoicing and Credit Control: Review customer credit terms, manage dispatch dockets, and email invoices.
• Stock Control: Administratively support stock taking process, monitor stock pricing, and produce reports for the Finance Manager.
• Accounts Preparation: Support the Finance Manager in preparing monthly accounts, monitoring sub-contractors, and producing accrual listings.
• Margin Analysis: Analyze kits produced versus estimates and provide revenue support for VAT preparation and return.

**Person Specification:**
Leaving Cert Standard qualification or relevant third-level qualification.
At least 3 years administration experience in a manufacturing environment or part-qualified accountant with minimum 1 year experience in a finance department.
Good working knowledge of software packages including Microsoft Office/Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
