Accountant (Part Qualified / Newly Qualified)
Based in Dunboyne Co. Meath with travel required 1 day per week to the companies other location in Dublin 7

The successful applicant will have a split role.
1. Local accountant for one specific division of the business in Ireland. They will take responsibility for the local finance function for this business. Initially this role will involve management of Payable/Receivables, Duty payments, Stock, Pricing, Fixed Asset Register, payroll assistance (managed externally), routine general ledger postings, banking and cashflow management. We would envisage this role expanding into a Financial Controller role with responsibility for accounts production, budgeting and financial reporting.
2. Accountant for a separate entity of the company. As part of the finance team in Dunboyne, the candidate will report into the local Finance Controller and carry out a range of duties as outlined below.
The successful candidate must be commercially minded, capable of working solo and as part of a team. This role will give the candidate exposure to a wide breadth of the companies business and there will be significant opportunity for advancement within the Group.
1. Weekly tracking of gifts from VISA card, employee expenses and from direct postings to the GL codes
2. Download weekly expenses from Concur, code in Medius and review in AX
3. Complete review of expenses on Concur on a weekly basis to ensure all backup provided so compliant with revenue regulations
4. Reporting weekly the gifts and expenses on ROS under the enhanced revenue reporting requirements
5. Administration and editing of employee profiles in Concur
6. Provide employee expense accruals not processed at month end
7. Debt collection of customer balances overdue on a weekly basis
8. Follow up with Intouch billing department on service agreement balances
9. Follow up with machine servicing and spare parts department on balances
10. Bad debt provision calculation at the end of the month
11. Invoicing of 37+ and QA income on a monthly basis
12. AR ledger revaluations and reconciliation and AR AX close at month end
13. Visual lease calculations on a month basis and journals prepared
14. Add any new finance or operating leases to visual lease
15. Upload Operating and Finance visual Lease journals to AX on a monthly basis
16. ST and LT finance lease reconciliation
17. Accounts payable 3rd party statement to AX reconciliation of overhead and Stock invoices
18. Liaise with accounts payable team on overhead and stock queries
19. Quarterly preparation and filing of supplier to AX statements
20. AP ledger revaluations and reconciliation and AP AX close at month end
21. UK VAT return preparation and submission on a monthly basis
22. UK Intrastat dispatches and arrivals prepared on a monthly basis
23. Prepare Hungary & Belgium & Ireland & NI Intrastats dispatches & arrivals
24. Balance sheet reconciliations submitted on Adra on a monthly basis
25. Liaise with the finance team on the month end reconciliations
26. Liaise with the corporate reporting team on any new monthly reporting requirements
