Position: Clinical Nurse Manager/ Person In Charge
Location: Galway, Ireland
Role: Permanent Full Time
Salary: 54,000 - 64,462 per annum (depending on experience)
Start: ASAP

Overview of Role
The Person In Charge / Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing person-centred services for adults and children in a care centre, ensuring compliance with health regulations and standards. They work closely with senior management to deliver high-quality services.
Purpose of Role
Ensure the centre operates in line with:
* The organisation's strategic objectives and core values
* Organisational policies, procedures, guidelines, and safety standards
* A rights-based, person-centred environment with regular communication to senior management
Key Duties
* Lead clinical practice and support nursing and care teams
* Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance
* Ensure the centre meets care standards and health authority inspections
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and treat individuals with dignity and respect
* Develop and maintain nursing standards and guidelines
* Manage the unit under senior management guidance
* Create a homelike atmosphere and foster respectful relationships
Minimum Requirements
* 3+ years in a management or supervisory role in health or social care
* Registered in the national nursing and midwifery register
* Clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity
* Proven experience in managing residential services
* Budget management and team leadership skills
* Report writing, care planning, and staff roster management experience
* Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements in the care sector
