About the Role:
As a Senior/Principal Water Resources Planning Specialist, you will lead and contribute to strategic projects addressing Ireland's water resource planning, operation, and management. You'll work with diverse teams of environmental scientists, engineers, and planners, while engaging closely with clients and stakeholders in both public and private sectors.
Requirements: Degree-qualified in a relevant field (Level 8 or higher); Level 9/10 preferred.Minimum of 10 years' experience, with at least some in consultancy.Chartered or Fellow status (Scientist, Environmentalist, or Ecologist) with a professional body (e.g., CIWEM) is preferred.Proven expertise in water resources planning, strategy, and modeling.Strong business development and client engagement skills, with experience writing proposals and tenders.Full Irish/EU driving licence.Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership on water resource management and planning projects.Develop and implement water resource strategies, including supply-demand balances, drought planning, and risk management.Support client relationships, including with Uisce Éireann and private-sector entities.Lead business development initiatives, including proposals and tenders.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Ireland and the UK to deliver high-quality, integrated services.Benefits: 25 days A/LLife AssurancePension ContributionsFees for professional membershipsInternational remote workingHybrid and flexible hours workingAnd more!Apply directly today to ******
