The role
The Solar PV Technical Sales Agent will be responsible for driving growth within your designated region across domestic, commercial, and agricultural solar PV markets with full support from the business.
The day-to-day role will involve travelling to pre-qualified potential customers assessing properties, designing and selling solar PV and battery storage systems.
Responsibilities
1. Grow market share within your region.
2. Develop and implement a growth strategy for your region with Management.
3. Develop and achieve agreed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets.
4. Contribute toward developing, implementing, and improving the sales process.
5. Develop relationships with industry specialists such as architects, developers, engineers, and other key industry representatives.
6. Liaise with our marketing/telesales/operations teams as required.
7. Attend meetings as required.
8. Attend trade shows, seminars, conferences, etc. as required.
Requirements
1. Full clean driver’s license is essential.
2. At least 3 years of proven sales/business development experience.
3. Technical sales experience in the construction industry.
4. Solar PV & battery storage experience is a distinct advantage.
5. Technically oriented or from a technical background.
6. Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
7. Computer literate.
8. Ambition is a must for this role.
