Job Description:
The DV360 Programmatic Account Manager will execute key tasks within the strategic plan for managed accounts, under the guidance of the Account Executive (AE) or Senior Account Manager (AM). The role involves identifying customer needs, campaign/product implementation, optimization, product adoption and expansion, and maintaining core account hygiene. This position will contribute to team objectives and work collaboratively across departments.
Responsibilities:
* Execute tasks as part of the strategic plan for managed accounts, including identifying customer needs, product implementation, optimization, and account management, with guidance from senior team members.
* Contribute to achieving revenue objectives by helping to implement and optimize digital advertising campaigns.
* Select appropriate approaches to solve challenges in managed accounts with support from managers or senior team members.
* Troubleshoot and resolve defined customer problems using standard resources and escalate complex issues when necessary.
* Collaborate with the team by sharing knowledge and insights relevant to tasks.
* Build and nurture working relationships with cross-functional teams (e.g., Analytical Leads, Specialists, gPs, media operations team) to contribute to successful cross-project collaborations.
* Develop external relationships with partners to drive growth.
* Follow established guidelines on timing, goals, and objectives within the strategic plan for managed accounts.
* Gain a basic understanding of the process area and know when to seek additional support and guidance.
* Begin developing knowledge in translating customer objectives into action.
* Expand product knowledge and understanding of the competitive landscape through training and stretch opportunities.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Consumer Behaviour Knowledge: Understanding of digital or traditional consumer behaviours and how they inform product strategy, design, and sales cycles.
* Customer Conversations: Ability to use open, closed, and leading questions to understand customer motivations, needs, and desires.
* Data-Driven Analysis & Reporting: Ability to analyze technical and financial data to position Google products and services effectively, creating competitive advantage.
* Advertising Knowledge: Knowledge of Google’s advertising products and platforms, including campaign building, optimization, and performance analysis to meet goals and KPIs.
* Sales Tools: Familiarity with internal Google tools (e.g., dashboards, CRM tools) to provide analysis and optimization insights and leverage new opportunities.
* Persuasion Skills: Skilled at gaining commitment from partners, customers, and stakeholders using data and effective communication or storytelling methods.
* Stakeholder Management Strategy: Ability to influence key stakeholders within a customer's organization to help them make decisions regarding products and services.
Desired Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
* Experience: Minimum of 4 years working with digital media or digital marketing/advertising solutions.
* Experience in implementing, measuring, and optimizing digital advertising campaigns.
* At least 4 years of experience in a client-facing role working with partners across multiple levels.
* Experience with Ad networks, DSPs, programmatic, and Google advertising platforms.
