At the direction of the Chief Compliance Officer, the Director, EMEA Compliance will improve, create and/or maintain compliance programs for Sales, Marketing and Revenue within the Europe, Middle East and Africa. Travels are less than 10%. This is a remote position with some occasional times being onsite. This role is open in the UK/Ireland/Netherlands/France/Germany.
Let’s talk about responsibilities:
* Supporting and providing legal and compliance analysis on Transparency reporting in applicable countries.
* Providing support on large scale projects involving sampling, sales, marketing, revenue, promotions, sweepstakes, and other programs.
* Preventing, identifying, and resolving potential non-compliance risks and advising the business on proactively eliminating, mitigating, and resolving such risks.
* Adopting reasonable controls to measure compliance, periodic reporting via a compliance dashboard; providing follow up to appropriate stakeholders in legal and senior management.
* Assisting internal and external auditors on those controls that should be subjected to audit, investigation, and reporting.
* Participating in periodic auditing and monitoring activities, communications to the business, and process for obtaining management response to any identified gap.
* Assisting in the development and implementation of an investigation training and protocol.
* Developing and delivering training to new and existing employees on compliance topics.
* Developing and administering annual compliance plans.
* Assisting in identifying the legal compliance risks existing within our various business models.
* Communicating routinely with relevant stakeholders, including the appropriate Legal Business Partner regarding identified risks and compliance concerns.
Let’s talk about qualifications and experience:
* Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university. Master's degree preferred.
* Legal education required and/or work experience in a law office or legal position in the healthcare/life sciences industry is preferred.
* 10+ years’ experience in designing, implementing, and training on compliance programs or equivalent combination of education and experience in compliance roles in the healthcare/life sciences industry.
* Experience partnering with senior executives.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
