Security Officer
From initial greeting through to departure our professionally trained security team are here to help. They control access to the village, assist with emergencies and ensure our guests have an enjoyable stay.
We hope our guests never need them, but knowing we have a Security team on call all year-round provides peace of mind and reassurance.
SECURITY OFFICER | €16.27 per hour
We are looking for a cheerful and efficient Security Officer to work within a small team, responsible for the Security of our village. This role is paramount to our guest journey as you will represent their first impressions of Center Parcs.
Duties will include:
Welcoming guests, visitors, and colleagues to the village on a daily basis
Carrying out vehicle, cycle, and foot patrols, conducting vehicle checks
Escorting colleagues moving high volume items across the village
Responding to emergencies, including liaising with the emergency services and writing incident reports
The ideal candidate will have the ability to remain calm under pressure, with the ability to communicate competently both verbally and in writing. A First Aid qualification is essential and full training will be given if necessary.
HOURS OF WORK
We have the following contracts available on a flexible basis. This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.
64 hours per 4-week period - Permanent
168 hours per 4-week period - Fixed-term until 31st March 2025, shifts will include days and nights.

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday.
ABOUT YOU
Essential requirements:
Good communication skills, both orally and written
Ability to perform under pressure
A good knowledge of IT systems
Friendly, genuine, and warm towards colleagues and guests
Full Driving Licence, held for a minimum of 6 months
A Garda Vetting Licence, First Aid qualification and Private Security Authority Licence (to include Door Supervisor and Static Guard). If you don’t have these on application the company will pay for the required training
