Project Engineer (Construction/CSA)
The successful Project Engineer reports to the Capital Projects Manager and is responsible for supporting and assisting in the planning and organization of projects to achieve objectives safely within agreed time, cost, and performance criteria.
* Coordinate and participate in design and construction on site.
* Lead projects for facility modifications and capital equipment procurement.
* Assist the Capital Projects Manager in planning and tracking activities.
* Liaise with various stakeholders on the projects to ensure clear communication between all parties.
* Provide technical process support throughout the project life cycle.
* Generate change controls on Trackwise and drive their closure in a timely manner.
* Review turnover documentation from vendors.
* Setup and review of contracts with legal representatives.
* Assist in setting up a capital project programme.
* Responsibility for direct supervision of vendor engineers and contractors during engineering works on single or multiple capital projects.
* Use of permit to work system or other safety systems of work to control engineering activities.
* Management of capital and cost benefit analysis.
* Participation in HAZOP and design reviews.
* Generate and check project engineering deliverables such as technical specifications, procurement submittals, and handover documentation.
Estimated salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per year. This role requires experience in project engineering, preferably in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
